Uniform security guard


Security guards are generally unified to represent the legal authority to protect private property. Security guards are usually subject to legislation that sets out eligibility requirements (such as criminal record checks) and the authorized authority of security guards in a particular jurisdiction. The Uniform Security Guard authorized by security forces vary by national and quasi-country jurisdiction. Security officers are employed by a variety of organizations, including companies, government agencies, government agencies, and non-profits (church, charity, etc.).



Until the 1980s, the term watchman was more commonly used for this feature. This usage dates back to at least the Middle Ages in Europe. In Europe, there were no law enforcement agencies. This term was taken over by North America and was interchangeable with night watchmen (such as security guards) until both terms were replaced with the latest security-based titles.
